Cheerful

I AM CHEERFUL, FOR GOD IS AT HAND.

Be cheerful today. Remember, God—who is all power, all good, all love—is present in your life. God’s plan for you is abundant good.

Refuse to dwell on negative things. Refuse to discuss anything in a negative light. Instead of giving thought and words to a problem, give attention to the solution. God is in every situation. God is in every person.

God has ways we know not of to help us. God will provide the strength and faith we need to conquer fear, handle our problems, and move us into abundant good.

Be cheerful. Let go of every disturbing thought and emotion. Make yourself a clear, receptive channel through which the power of God flows to adjust and perfect that which concerns you.

These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. (John 16:33)

Center of Love

I AM A RADIATING CENTER OF THE CHRIST LOVE, MIGHTY TO ATTRACT MY GOOD AND TO RADIATE THAT GOOD TO OTHERS.

Everyone desires to love and be loved. We must realize that the love of God is within us, and our part is to let it shine out to those around us.

Be that attractive kind of person who radiates a feeling of warmth and love. You will carry with you a power of blessing and good will. Others will turn to you as you express your warmth, brightness, joy, and love.

As you go about your day, think of yourself as a center of warmth and love—attracting your good and radiating it to others.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. (Colossians 3:14)

Cause and Effect

I SEE THE PERFECT OUTWORKING OF GOD’S SPIRIT REGARDLESS OF APPEARANCES. I GIVE THANKS FOR EVERY OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH AND UNFOLDMENT.

The law of cause and effect is operative at all times. As we sow, so shall we also reap. Our sorrows and blessings are the ships we have launched, coming home laden with their cargoes.

However, the law of cause and effect is not the complete answer. It doesn’t explain everything. Jesus pointed this out to His disciples when they asked who had sinned, the blind man or his parents. In John 9:3, Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be manifest in him.” Jesus did not label the blindness a punishment but an opportunity for the works of God to be made known to that man as well as those around him. The blindness was simply the soul’s means of growth.

We draw to us what we need for growth—not necessarily what we want. We get the experiences and attract the situations that add to the treasury of our real self. Inner strength is gained through coming victoriously through some trying situation.

When we read about or hear of accidents, diseases, or infirmities of others, it is fruitless to speculate as to why they happened. Do not focus on the misfortune but bless the person and situation and know that the works of God will undoubtedly be made manifest in spite of appearance. Be of too pure eyes to focus on misfortune and remain centered in the awareness of God’s absolute good.

For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. (Romans 8:18)

Be Different

GOD INSPIRES MY MIND WITH NEW IDEAS THAT I USE CREATIVELY. I LIVE AN INTERESTING, ADVENTURE-FILLED LIFE TODAY.

Are you afraid to be different? If so, it’s likely that you are somewhat bored. To make your life interesting, to enjoy the excitement of living, be willing to be different. Instead of doing the same things the same old way, try a new approach. Drag out your imagination and put it to work. Ask yourself how you can make what you do, whether at home or in the marketplace, more interesting. Get out of your drab, dull, daily routine.

Being different brings success to your ventures. Do an exceptional job rather than being content in just doing a good one. Add an extra touch of creativity—something distinctive that people will notice and remember.

Seek to meet others who stand out from the crowd. Read something that gives you a different viewpoint. A little difference can make you an exceptional person who lives an enthusiastic, successful, exciting life. Try being different today.

There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. (I Corinthians 12:4)

Will to Win

I AM RECEPTIVE TO THE WISDOM OF GOD’S SPIRIT IN ME, AND I MOVE FORTH FEARLESSLY AND CONFIDENTLY TOWARD THE FULFILLMENT OF MY CHOSEN GOALS.

The will to win is the first need of the day. People win because they think they can. Your will is an important gift. It is that quality in you that enables you to choose. You can select what you will do and what you will be. You can choose the words you speak, the thoughts you think, the work you do or leave undone. You can choose the friends and hopes you will cultivate and which path you will follow.

Early in the morning, choose the course you shall pursue during the day. Your will to win can hold you to your course until you accomplish it. Your will is a magnetic force. It sets others working for you. It attracts good to you. It enables you to be master of yourself and your circumstances.

Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ. (II Corinthians 2:14)
