Finding God

LORD, I ACKNOWLEDGE YOUR PRESENCE IN ME. I NOW HAVE AN OPEN MIND. I AM READY TO RECEIVE YOUR GUIDANCE AND ACT UPON IT.

Have you ever wondered how you could find God? It is likely that each of us have had times when God seemed much removed from us.

God is everywhere present; therefore, God is within you and me. Our mind is our connecting link with God. In times of quietness, let us declare our true relationship with God. As we contemplate the Truth that God is within, we will begin to experience an inner sense of peace and security.

We will find welling up from deep within our soul new ideas, encouraging thoughts, and fresh inspiration. This is God’s way of speaking to us. Then it is up to us to respond by following through on the ideas we receive.

We can find peace if we turn our attention to God’s presence within us and allow our mind and heart to be filled with God’s peace, love, and inspiration.

You will seek the Lord you God, and you will find him, if you search after him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

Reclaim Joy

I AM A CHILD OF GOD. I AM HAPPY, WELL, AND FREE!

“How did I get into such a mess?” We sometimes ask this question, but we already know the answer, don’t we? We get into wrong situations by wrong choices. When we choose to feel annoyed or angered, we are apt to experience depression, tiredness, and health problems. When we choose to hold a grudge rather than blessing and releasing those we are blaming, we are asking for trouble.

One may argue, “But it is only natural to feel this way.” Is it? No, it is unnatural for our true self to harbor negative thoughts and feelings—and that is the very reason that entertaining negativity brings suffering into our lives.

We were meant to be happy. We were meant to be free. We were not created for the purpose of experiencing hardships of any kind. Let us reclaim our true nature—the state of spiritual consciousness in which God is all we know and good is all that we experience.

I have said these things to you so that my joy will be in you and your joy will be complete. (John 15:11)

All Things Great and Small

Thank You, God, for Your Presence everywhere.

Two people may look at a blade of grass and see entirely different worlds. One may realize the seeming magic in the tiny green blade and praise our Creator for these wondrous works. Another person may disregard it altogether, thinking it to be very commonplace. That which is common does not have to be dull or uninteresting. It can be filled with joy and wonder!

We may think of ourselves as very ordinary, facing all kinds of limitations, until we come to realize who we truly are and what our potential really is! We are heirs of an omnipotent God whose Spirit dwells within each one of us—and in all that is outside of us, as well. God-Life is everywhere and is eternal!

Let us be quick to glorify God in all things great and small. Let us never take even the most commonplace happening or thing for granted, but let us develop an eye for seeing the grandeur in all creation.

And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. (Genesis 1:31)

Answers

In quietness and confidence I look to God for the answers to my questions. God reveals the Truth to me.

Where are you looking for the answer to your problem? Where are you searching for meaning in life?

People may turn to so-called psychic advisors of various kinds with disappointing and sometimes disastrous results. The most accurate method to find answers is to go straight to God.

God’s Spirit waits within you, ready to be discovered, wanting to give you understanding of whatever it is you need to know. God will provide you with the right solution to your problem—and God is unlimited. If you sincerely seek God’s wisdom, you will find the answer welling up from within you.

But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29)

Decisions

I TRUST IN THE UNFAILING GUIDANCE OF GOD. I MAKE GOOD DECISIONS, AND I TAKE RIGHT ACTIONS NOW.

Do you sometimes find yourself hesitant in making a decision? Decisions can be difficult at times, for we find ourselves thinking first one thing, then another.

Our hesitancy usually is because we question our ability or authority to make the right decision. Yet, there is no logical reason to doubt ourselves, because God’s Spirit of Truth is always within us to guide our thinking and inspire our actions.

Ask God. Ask to be shown in a clear, definite manner what decision you are to make. Ask God to provide you with a true understanding of the situation. Do this and your answer will come. Be alert and expectant, confident in God’s ability to direct you.

Shall we pray together? Father, we are grateful for the answers You so lovingly provide. We accept Your guidance and take the right action. Amen.

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:6)
