Faith

I HAVE FAITH IN GOD. I HAVE FAITH IN THE PERFECT OUTCOME OF EVERY SITUATION IN MY LIFE, FOR GOD IS IN CONTROL.

Faith is a mind power that you use all the time. Faith affects all phases of your life—your health, happiness, relationships, and even your financial affairs. Faith releases incredible power. It generates mind energy that acts upon an invisible universal substance and brings into being the object of your faith.

Now can you see how important it is to place your power of faith in God? Should you be so careless as to have faith in the necessity of illness, pain, lack, and limitation, you can expect to experience these things. Instead, have faith in God. Have faith in the activity and power of God at work in your life. Have faith in God’s infinite goodness and love that desires only wholeness, abundance, and good in every form for you.

Would you like to experience health, wealth, and happiness in every phase of your life? You can. Let your words and the meditations of your heart indicate your faith in God. Release dynamic energy through activating your faith.

For we walk by faith, not by sight. (II Corinthians 5:7)

Free Time

I AM DIVINELY INSPIRED TO USE MY FREE TIME WISELY AND WELL.

Free time is important for our mental and physical well-being. All of us can have more of it if we learn to cut out unnecessary expenditures of time. Take stock of yourself. See how much time you spend in useless activities—running around, on the telephone, and in unnecessary talk.

Free time should be used constructively. Look for interests and hobbies that will enrich your life. Do things that will contribute to the use of your wonderful God-given energies and talents.

Be sure most of your free time involves participation in life rather than being an onlooker. It is easy to collapse in front of the television and let somebody else do the living while we do the deteriorating. You will enrich your life as you use your free time wisely. Determine to have free time—and make the most of it.

For there shall be a time there for every purpose and for every work. (Ecclesiastes 3:17)

Expanding Power of Joy

I LET JOY FILL MY MIND AND HEART. I LET THE EXPANDING POWER OF JOY EXPRESS THROUGH ME.

When we are joyful we feel good—we feel healthy and strong. Joy sings of enthusiasm and energy. This positive quality of mind lightens our work, brightens our home, and makes everything we do interesting.

There is no need to go through life feeling dull or discouraged when we can accomplish our goals through the power of a joyful spirit. Joy is a building tool that helps us create, a multiplying activity that produces right results. Joy is like a giant magnet, for when we express joy we attract exciting and rewarding relationships and experiences.

Solve your problems and make your life brighter by consciously putting joy into your mind and heart. Joy in your thinking will bring forth new ideas and new ways of doing things. Joy in your heart will feel so good it will naturally overflow and bless other people.

I have spoken these things to you, that my joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be made full. (John 15:11)

Poised, Powerful, and Peaceful

I AM POISED, POWERFUL, AND PEACEFUL FOR I AM A CHILD OF GOD.

Do you let people and circumstances upset you? Do you become emotionally disturbed because you seem to be bound to unpleasant conditions? If so, remember that you are a poised, powerful free Spirit. You are a child of God.

As a child of God, you are spiritual by nature. In your spiritual nature, you have poise and peace, for you are centered in God. In your spiritual nature you have power, for you are a part of God’s power. You are free because Spirit cannot be bound.

In Truth, you really are emotionally stable. Behold the good in all people and in all circumstances. Know yourself to be free. Know that all conditions are under the wise and loving supervision of God. This knowledge gives you the power to press forward to accomplish the good you wish to accomplish.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (II Corinthians 3:17)

Flexible

I AM RELAXED AND ADAPTABLE TO GOD’S WILL. I OPEN MY MIND TO NEW IDEAS.

Are you a flexible person—one who is willing to learn, to have new experiences, to try new ways, to think different thoughts? The dead, brittle limbs on a tree often break during a storm. People with unbending attitudes—hardness of heart—will find themselves subject to many problems. Those who think they know it all are destined for difficulties. To be inflexible and unwilling to grow gives us no way to learn except the hard way.

Ask God for greater understanding and insight. Quite often you will find that the ideas you receive are unconventional—different from what you could have imagined. Your willingness to be taught of God assures your continued spiritual growth. Wonderful things will come to you when you have a flexible attitude.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. (Philippians 4:12)
