God’s Light

I am now dwelling in the healing, revealing light of Spirit.

There are times when we feel surrounded by darkness and despair. We may feel that we have disappointed someone or failed ourselves in some way, or we may simply be confused. Let us always remember that we can turn to Spirit within and be instantly enfolded in Pure Light.

“Be not dismayed,” but rely upon the constant loving care of God. Know that in the light, disturbances give way to peace and harmony, guilt gives way to loving forgiveness of self and others, anger gives way to calm joy.

Know also that we can become aware of this uplifting Presence at any moment of time. The light of God can penetrate any depth of fear and negation, and illumine our way into a future of hope, joy, and wholeness.

Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. (Isaiah 41:10)

Healing

The healing presence of Christ fills me, surrounds me, and enfolds me.

You are never removed from the healing presence of Christ. When it appears that your body is not up to par, begin to call upon the power of God at work in you.

Release negative thoughts concerning your health. Turn your attention from discouragement to God’s healing presence. Let your words express only positive Truth concerning your body. Refrain from dramatizing health challenges of the past or present—even someone else’s. Instead, call your attention back to the presence of Christ in you.

To bless your body, affirm the following thought:

The healing presence of Christ fills me, surrounds me, and enfolds me. This presence saturates every cell, organ, function, and atom of my body temple. Christ heals my body, restoring it to perfection. I give thanks that I am made whole.

And great multitudes followed Him, and He healed them all. (Matthew 12:15)

Right Place

I GIVE THANKS THAT I AM LED TO MY RIGHT WORK.

You have a particular place to fill in God’s great universal plan. You are important. Therefore, hold no limiting thoughts or feelings about yourself; neither allow the limited thoughts of others to influence your actions. You have the capacity to succeed and progress.

Endeavor to do your work well, regardless of your present occupation. Learn all that you can where you are, and put God first in your life—in your heart, mind, and world. You will be led to your right place in God’s great universal plan.

Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank. (Proverbs 22:29)

Riches

I seek first the Kingdom of God within me, and the inexhaustible riches of God pour into my life.

Are you constantly striving for outer good? Is your life a continual struggle for things? To run after external blessings is to go at life backwards. If we seek within for God, the source of our good, the doors will open for everything we can possibly need or desire.

Within you is the kingdom of God—an inexhaustible source of power and unlimited good in every form. You can do anything if you will contact this power. You can have anything, for God will bring you out of lack and limitation into a land of plenty. Your problems, regardless of their nature, can be overcome if you will touch that one thing—the Kingdom of God—which will assure you of all things.

A wealth of riches, untouched and unexpected, awaits you.

But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (Matthew 6:33)

Relaxation

I QUIETLY AND CONFIDENTLY RELAX AS I TRUST IN GOD’S PEACE AND STRENGTH.

Relaxation is essential for coping with the normal tensions and agitations of daily living. Relaxation is the key to many doors. When we are relaxed the body is restored, for God’s healing life and energy is allowed to flow unobstructed. Relaxation is the key to beauty. When we are relaxed, lines of strain, anxiety, and tension are erased from the face. Relaxation is the key to clear thinking—enabling a person to be more effective and efficient.

Take time daily to lie flat and speak words of relaxation to all parts of the body. Then, when the body is relaxed, pray. Prayer helps free the mind from tense and fearful thoughts. In prayer, affirm God’s presence within you. Affirm that God’s unlimited life flows through you, revitalizing, healing, restoring, and filling your mind and body with boundless energy.

In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. (Isaiah 30:15)
