Accept Yourself

I accept myself as a beloved and loving child of God.

There is something you can do better than anyone else—be yourself. Nobody else in the whole world can be you! Even though there are many songwriters, all songs are different. Poets may write on the same themes but they use different words, phrases, and rhythms. Every person’s voice, too, is unique. As children of God, we are each one of a kind. Realize that you can express God in a wonderful way that no one else can possibly do.

Many are sad and depressed because they do not know who they are. They may falsely believe they are not good enough to be loved, to be successful, to be prosperous, to be happy. They may falsely believe they have inherited disease and weaknesses. The truth is that you are God’s beloved child and heir. You have been given the kingdom. As soon as each one of us can believe this, we can relax in God’s love, receiving what is ours and being what we were meant to be.

Accept yourself now as a beloved and loving child of God!

You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5)

Ageless

I AM A SPIRITUAL BEING, ALIVE WITH GOD’S LIFE, ENERGY, STRENGTH, AND POWER.

We will live healthier, happier lives by letting go of false ideas regarding age. If we believe our life is limited to a brief span of years, we are inclined to think in terms of sickness and disability. Many people falsely believe that age means deterioration. When we have this mindset, our age is never just right—we’re always too young or too old.

Live in the eternal now. Your ideal time of life is now—not yesterday or tomorrow. We can do the things we want to do and accomplish the things we want to accomplish. Step out of the thought of age and remind yourself that you are ageless and eternal. You are alive with the life of God. You are filled with divine energy, power, and strength.

Whenever you start to think in terms of years, stop and remind yourself that you are neither young nor old—you are Spirit. You can live in newness of life each day.

Instead, your beauty should consist of your true inner self, the ageless beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of the greatest value in God’s sight. (I Peter 3:4)

Vitality

ENERGY, STRENGTH, AND VITALITY ARE GOD’S GIFT TO ME, AND I MANIFEST THEM EVERY DAY.

Do you ever suffer from a lack of energy? Fatigue and tiredness do not seem to be at all influenced by age, as we may have falsely believed. Our energy output is dependent upon our attitude.

Have you noticed that when you are anticipating something good happening that your general vitality, strength, and energy are very high? Happy hopes—keen anticipation of something interesting and exciting—give an abundance of energy.

You can generate your energy supply. Commitment to a worthwhile project and doing something meaningful and challenging gets things going. Don’t make the mistake of waiting to feel energetic before you start. Begin—the energy will come. This unlimited energy, which is the life activity of God in you, is waiting for you to turn it on. Won’t you?

Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. (Isaiah 40:30–31)

Inexhaustible Supply

I am rich and free, for I give to God’s work and God gives to me.

God’s supply is exhaustless and always available for our use. Does your supply seem to be limited? Would you like to have more? If so, learn to give. Giving is a requisite for fulfilling God’s law of abundance. Are you regularly and consistently giving to God’s work through a spiritual organization that teaches and demonstrates the Truth? Do you give freely where you receive your spiritual help, understanding, and enlightenment?

We live under the spiritual law of giving and receiving. How often we are willing to give to family, friends, and social causes yet hesitate to give to God’s work. Through giving to a spiritual organization that teaches people of their own potential and unused resources, we are helping others help themselves. This is the only true help there is. Outer needs can be satisfied only to recur unless the person has grown in understanding.

Share of your substance and God will increasingly enrich, bless, and prosper you as you demonstrate your faith.

Give, and it shall be given to you. (Luke 6:38)

Protection

GOD’S WISDOM GUIDES ME AT ALL TIMES. I AM SAFE, SECURE, AND PROTECTED.

Wisdom has much to do with your safety, for as you think and act wisely, you are divinely protected.

In all that you do, act with the wisdom of God. Stay calm and poised. Do not be foolish and take unwise chances. Be orderly and obey the laws that pertain to safety—they are for your protection. Your cooperation is a part of letting God’s wisdom work through you. Be thoughtful of the rights of others, for this too demonstrates wisdom and love.

By keeping calm, yet always alert, you will be in the right place at the right time. As you open your mind to God’s wisdom, guidance, and order, you also open your life to divine direction and power.

Keep sound wisdom and discretion…. Then you will walk in your way securely and your foot will not stumble. (Proverbs 3:21-23)
