As we look at the beauty and wonder of nature, as we dwell upon the order of the universe, we must come to the logical conclusion that God is good.
Surely God would not provide so abundantly for all the creatures of the earth and neglect to provide for us. Nor would there be a divine plan for the universe and yet no plan for God’s own children.
We must eradicate every false concept that God is some superhuman made in the image of man, doling out to some and withholding from others. God knows only good and perfection—and as God’s heirs we inherit all that God is. The great plan is that we unfold and develop our potential greatness. All good lies at our fingertips—all riches and honor—all health and vitality—all good in every form.
Nothing is held back from the children of God. Can you accept your heritage?
Words build your life. Everything you see in the external first began as an idea in someone’s mind. Each idea takes shape and form and is expressed into the visible through words.
With your words you paint a picture for others to see the nature of your innermost, invisible self. Your words tell them what you are like.
With your words you build the atmosphere in which you live. Good, powerful words create a healthy, wholesome atmosphere while negative, destructive words create a heavy, dreary atmosphere.
Words connect us to our awareness of God within. Through our words, spoken or unspoken, we establish our faith in God.
Our words are backed by the power and substance of our thoughts and have tremendous creative characteristics. Choose your thoughts and words wisely with an inner eye toward creating only that which you want.

Can you be happy in the midst of difficulty? Many people do not expect happiness in their lives if they are experiencing any kind of hardship, yet there are others who seem determined not to let outer conditions affect them. Which type person are you? Are you ready to complain at the first sign of confusion—or do you begin to count your blessings and affirm the good even when circumstances seem dreary?
Our thoughts and feelings are always reflected in our daily lives. Our attitude makes a world of difference in what we experience. The sun may be shining brightly, but until we desire its light and warmth, we may simply sit in the dark behind closed blinds. We may believe that others will be drawn to us by pity in our adversity. People may come, true, but how many will want to remain with us in such a state? Let us open our mental blinds and allow the light and warmth of our true nature to be expressed.
Sometimes we may wonder why one person prospers and another does not. Why do some seem to be favored while others struggle? Let us remember that God has given every one of us the same laws to live by. We are all one in Spirit at the Source, yet through our power of thought each of us has developed differently. We may use this power freely—to bring about peace or discord, health or disease¬, abundance or lack. Universal laws are the same for all. Therefore, let us learn to think wisely and bring forth only that which is good and true into our lives.
We must discard the error belief that others are favored but we are not. We are equal in our share of potential blessings. It is up to us to bring forth good. Each of us can choose our thoughts, our feelings, and our desires. Give thanks that Divine Law is perfect and never fails.
