Are you happy and satisfied with your present situation in life or would you like a better one?
You are where you are because of what you are inside, within your mind and heart. Nothing or no one outside of you can ever limit you.
You can claim a better situation if you would like. However, you must earn it by making yourself worthy. This involves casting out of your mind all beliefs that others are holding you back or keeping you from your good. Revoke all the power you have given outer things to hurt or hinder you. Sweep your heart clear of resentment and envy.
Keep your eye single to the unlimited opportunity that God is daily providing for you. Then you can make your situation what you would like it to be.
There is no greater confidence than that which comes from listening to our inner Guide. When we turn to our true source of being, we not only get the answer, but we also receive strength and courage to carry out our actions.
Only the pure Wisdom of Christ within can show us the best way forward. When we turn inward for guidance, rather than seeking outer opinions, we shall find true harmony in all of our affairs.
Yes, at times, others may offer good advice which may solve our problems at the moment. But as we open our minds to receive the all-knowing Wisdom of Christ, we will have the perfect answer for the eventual perfect outcome. Our advice from God holds no sorrow, no compromise. As we accept it, we accept good only.
Do you let yourself get caught up in false beliefs about age? Do you give birthdays the power to deteriorate your physical organism? Do not allow such negative thoughts to accumulate in your consciousness. You can retain your youthful vigor by remembering that you are a vital expression of God’s life. It does not make any difference how old you are. Keep your mind filled with thoughts of power, strength, and productivity. The cells of your body will respond. They will be continually renewed and restored.
You are a spiritual being, made in the glorious image of God. Your body can and should outpicture that image. The number of years you have lived has no power to limit the expression of life in your body. God cares nothing about your age. You have a purpose in life. Look to that purpose, and continue expressing the radiant, ageless, eternal Spirit of God every day.
Many people plod through life living at half-measures. They are half-awake, half-believing, half-receiving, and half-giving. Certainly there is a better way.
Are you so inhibited that you express no more than half of your real potential? Do you hold back instead of speaking up, afraid of what others will say? Are you fearful of being different? Do you seek to live up to what others expect of you?
It is foolish to compare yourself with anyone else. You are a unique, special person. God’s very own Spirit is within you. Begin to think, express, and do that which is right and good, and uniquely you.
Come alive! Give the beautiful Spirit of God in you freedom to express. Refuse to hold back, and let yourself go with God.
Have you learned to be true to yourself? All too often we spend the major part of our lives being true to everything and everyone but ourselves.
You have been created in the image and likeness of God. Know that the Spirit of Truth will guide you. You do not need to succumb to social pressures, to go along with things because another person says this is the way it should be done. People sometimes conform for fear that they will not be accepted or liked if they go against the pattern, thereby making a god of opinion. “Thou shalt have no other gods before me.”
Concentrate on being true to the Spirit in you—true to what you feel deeply about, true to your life’s work, true to your whole pattern of living. Otherwise, you will short change yourself tremendously.
Stand on your own feet. Concentrate on your own ideas. As Shakespeare wrote, “To thine own self be true, and it shall follow as the night the day, thou canst not then be false to any man.” Listen to the Spirit of Truth within you and follow God’s guidance day by day.
