Dedicate

I dedicate myself to the will and purpose of God.

If we would live effectively, happily, and successfully in all our ways, let us each consecrate and dedicate ourselves to the will and the purpose of God.

Jesus Christ taught that the healing, restoring power of God is vested in us. Let us pray that this healing power be activated within the minds, hearts, and bodies of those in need.

Jesus Christ taught that the prospering, providing power of God is vested in us. Let us pray that this prospering, providing power be activated in the life and affairs of those in need.

Jesus Christ taught that the world-transforming, life-fulfilling power of God is in us. Let us pray that this power will become activated within all people and within our world.

Christ in you, the hope of glory. (Colossians 1:27)

Courage to Love

I am the HEIR OF PERFECT LOVE AND WISDOM. THANK YOU, GOD!

Oftentimes the act of doing a loving deed or expressing love to others takes much courage. At times love seems to be right, yet very challenging. It ceases to be difficult for us, however, when we realize that we are expressions of God’s love, and divine love flows through us as we let it.

It may not be easy to smile when one has tried to insult and hurt us. It is most difficult to love one who is sending hostile thoughts and words to us, but Divine Spirit within is our resource. God can work through us to accomplish the seemingly impossible. God is Love and as children of God, so are we!

Love is brought to the surface through the deep desire to express good through meditation and prayer. Whenever love seems the hardest thing for us, let us ask for perfect wisdom to reveal to us the best way to handle the situation. Let us ask Divine Love to do its perfect work, making easy and beautiful the way.

There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. (I John 4:18)

Use Your Wonderful Mind

MY MIND IS OPEN AND RECEPTIVE TO NEW IDEAS AND NEW UNDERSTANDING.

Have you a “do not disturb” sign on your brain? Sometimes we do and are not aware of it.

Do you welcome new ideas and concepts? Are you resentful of beliefs that are different from your own? Do you resist new ways of doing things simply because you feel more comfortable with the old? Have you prejudice that you insist on holding on to?

God has given you a wonderful mind. Are you using it? If so, you welcome the opportunity to think about new ideas and concepts. You are willing to investigate and seek understanding of beliefs different from you own instead of ignorantly condemning and criticizing.

Be sure you do not go through life in a coma-like state, mechanically repeating what someone else has said without ever having an original thought yourself. Use your wonderful mind, be receptive to new ideas, and watch yourself grow!

Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know. (Jeremiah 33:3)

Livingness

I am alive with the life of Spirit. I live this day joyously, freely, and productively.

Are you living or merely existing? You were not made to exist halfheartedly for a number of years and then pass on. You are made for life—full, happy, productive, and abundant. Livingness is a part of godliness. It begins with your early morning happy, expectant attitude of mind that starts your day off on the right foot and refuses to be pulled down by temporary setbacks.

Livingness involves a deep sense of appreciation of all God’s blessings—an attitude of praise and thanksgiving for your ability to think, to feel, to respond, to act. It also involves your use of the abilities in a powerful, constructive manner.

Are you truly living? It is only in your livingness that you can enjoy and benefit from your tremendous abilities.

For he is not a God of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him. (Luke 20:38)

You Are a Miracle

THANK YOU, GOD, FOR MAKING ME SO WONDERFUL! THANK YOU FOR THE EXCITING PLANS YOU HAVE FOR ME.

You are a miracle! There is not an invention on earth that can compare to the creation that you are. At this very moment, your brain is sending hundreds of thousands of messages throughout your body. Your senses pick up priceless information about the world around you. You can see and hear things which are more marvelous than anything Michelangelo could paint or Beethoven could compose.

Your body is magnificent, but you are even more wonderful. There is infinite potential within you waiting to be discovered and expressed, for God’s Spirit is in you.

Jesus said, “The kingdom of God is within you” and “It is the Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.” God sends lasting desires into your heart which speak of the plans of good created for you. Listen to the desires of your heart. Act on them, and God will gladly guide you into fulfilling them. What a wonderful creation you are, and what a wonderful life you have to live expressing the “imprisoned splendor” within you.

Eye hath not seen, not ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. (I Corinthians 2:9)
