It is important to be successful in life. With God’s unlimited, powerful, directive intelligence within you, why shouldn’t you be?
Expect success in all you do. God will make your way prosperous and successful as you seek and expect divine guidance.
God gives you ideas of success and prosperity to fit your special talents and abilities. If you act upon the ideas given you, they will attract to themselves all that is needed to bring them into visible form.
Let your thoughts and words be based upon your positive expectancy. Every good desire comes from God, and God provides the way to success.
We are quick to call upon God in our anxieties, but where do we turn in times of joy and success? Do we suddenly feel as if we alone are responsible for our good fortune? Do we say to ourselves, “Well, after all of my hard work, I really did deserve this!” If so, our success will be short-lived. Only through the realization of the power of God at work within us can true success and happiness be made permanent in our lives.
Let us learn to turn first to God in our joy. Let us credit God for our achievements. Let us give thanks that we have been used as a channel for good and wonderful work. By acknowledging our Source of power, we keep the way open for further blessings to come through and to us.
As we praise and give thanks to God in times of great happiness, a sense of completeness enfolds us. We know that we have done our part in bringing forth that with which God entrusted us. We know that we are loved and needed in the grand scheme of things. We draw closer to our Creator, knowing that God alone makes our joyous experiences possible.

Do you feel unsure about decisions that need to be made? Rather than make the wrong choice, many people neglect making decisions. This leads to drifting, frustration, and confusion.
Take a stand with God. Declare that God knows the way and God shows you the way. Affirm that God’s Spirit is guiding and directing you. Make the decision you feel right about within your heart. Proceed fearlessly and unhesitatingly. Once you have decided the way to go, do not allow other people or conditions to disturb you. Hold fast to your stand with God.
Things go smoothly and easily when you are working with God’s Spirit. Make God an active part of your every experience, and you will no longer fear making decisions.
What kind of pictures do you have in your mind? Happy, satisfying images or sad, depressive ones?
God has given you creative power. Through your thoughts, words, and mental pictures you create your life. Fill your mind with images of happy, pleasant, constructive things. Picture that which inspires confident expectancy.
Think about life—abundant, vitalizing, renewing life. Think about prosperity and success, harmony and order. Fill your mind with ideas of love, courage, power, and joy. If you will do this, you can assure yourself of a wonderful, happy life experience.

Are there times in your life when everything appears to go wrong? What causes these situations when we solve one troublesome problem only to confront another?
Every outer, material manifestation, every experience, is to a large measure a reflection of a condition within ourselves. Spiritual and mental discord manifests itself in like manner in our outer world. Once we accept this truth, we see that we can do something to correct the situation. Invite the Spirit of God in you to guide your actions and direct your efforts. Invite the Spirit of God to show you the changes that are to be made in your mental, emotional world. Christ in you will always guide and direct you into greater good, if you are willing.
The next time you enter a period when everything seems to go wrong, stop confused, inharmonious thoughts. Cease all outer struggle and prayerfully invite the dynamic, loving, powerful, and intelligent presence of God into your life. Keep your mind and heart open and receptive, and you will be guided, directed, and inspired.
