What controls your life? People sometimes feel restricted by what appears to be a lack of time. Most time shortages are due to our lack of organization and failure to plan. Learn to organize and plan. Make a list of ten things you want or need to do. Which of these is the most important? Put this at the top of your list, then follow it with other items in order of their importance. Once you know what you are going to do first, your mind is free to concentrate on that one thing, rather than worrying about all those other tasks to be done. Even the act of putting things in writing seems to give us an extra push to get moving.
Begin! The only way to start is to start. Begin the first thing on your list, concentrating fully on it. As soon as it is done, move on to the next. When you see that something is finished, you will be more enthusiastic about moving on to the next. You will have time to spare if you will plan effectively.

Your entire life is shaped according to your belief. This is a basic law of the universe. Jesus said, “According to your faith is it done unto you.”
Whatever you have believed in the past has helped make you what you now are. What you believe governs the type of experiences you are having. Whatever you choose to believe from now on will determine the conditions of your future.
Believe in negative, undesirable, and destructive experiences, and they will appear in your life. Stop thinking about, talking about, and believing in the bad if you want to experience good. Protect your¬self through wise believing.
How did you wake up this morning? Refreshed? Excited with the new day that is before you?
Your first few waking moments help set the pace for the rest of the day. Start your day with the proper attitude. Stretch and breathe deeply God’s pure, free fresh air. Thank God for a lovely day filled with exciting experiences yet to be.
Think of something pleasant for the day ahead. This will be much easier if you get up allowing sufficient time to prepare for your day with care and ease. Fighting the clock is a terrible way to start the day. Instead, wake up as an individual fully in charge of yourself. Rejoice and be glad!

How is your attention span today? Is your mind centered on what you are doing or is it divided?
Mental and physical weariness are often the result wandering, divided attention. We keep the body busy at one thing while the mind wanders aimlessly. We may think of things we must do or dread to do, or of the problems we’re facing, or of any one of a few thousand unrelated things.
If you desire exhaustless energy and efficiency, the secret is to keep your attention on whatever you are doing at the moment. Learn to focus your mind on the subject at hand.
You will be surprised at the speed, ease, and efficiency with which you work as you learn to keep your attention on what you are doing at the moment. All your energies become centralized, and powerful accomplishment marks your day.
