Who Are You?

God, I give thanks for your Spirit that is implanted in me. Open my mind and heart for you to express through me.

You are a spiritual being, endowed with the limitless, invincible, all-powerful attributes of God. God is life; you are an expression of life. God’s life is that one life that vibrates through every cell in your body—restoring, healing, energizing.

God is love; you are an expression of love. Love is that radiant, harmonizing, unifying power that assures you of fulfilling relationships. God is wisdom; you are an expression of wisdom. Wisdom guides you in making right choices and wise decisions. God is power; you are an expression of power. Power expressed through you enables you to achieve, to accomplish, to succeed.

Who are you? You are an expression of the limitless, dynamic, life, love, wisdom, and power of God. Give thanks for this wonderful truth. Open your mind and heart and allow God’s Spirit to express through you.

Yet you have made them a little lower than God, and crowned them with glory and honor. (Psalm 8:5)

Enthusiasm

I GIVE THANKS FOR MY PERPETUAL ENTHUSIASM. I HAVE FAITH TO DO THOSE THINGS THAT OUGHT TO BE DONE BY ME.

To be enthusiastic—to enjoy the tasks life presents to you, rather than dragging yourself through them—is the difference between living and merely existing.

Many of our great creative workers devoted long hours to their jobs, yet they were not driving themselves in the exhausting, negative way that people today often do. Edison worked eighteen to twenty hours a day. He was so absorbed and fascinated with his projects that they weren’t work to him. Through this steadfast power of effort, coupled with enthusiasm, Edison changed the world for the better.

Your day, your work, and your world will be changed and made new as you put intense interest and enthusiasm into what you are doing.

And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us, and establish the work of our hands for us; Yes, establish the work of our hands. (Psalm 90:17)

“When” Thinking

TODAY I AM PERFECT IN MIND AND BODY. TODAY MY AFFAIRS ARE IN PERFECT ORDER. NOW IS THE ACCEPTABLE TIME!

How much of your life do you spend living in the past or future? Do you frequently make such expressions as, “Before I was married,” “Before the children were born,” “When I lived at home with my parents,” “ “When I was in college…” Or does your thinking point in the other direction? “When the children are grown,” “When I retire,” “When this house is paid for,” “When we can afford it…” Are statements such as these the milestones of your thinking?

Our mental and physical energy is wasted on these types of thoughts. We cannot return to the past. It is over and done with. We cannot know the future; it is not ours to control. Mistakes and problems of yesterday are lessons learned that should make our lives today better. Each day has its own peculiar problems and each has its own compensations.

Jesus gave us the incentive to live in the now, not in the past or the future. To the repentant thief on the cross His promise was, “Today you will be with me in Paradise.” Jesus told His followers: “I am the way,” “I am the resurrection,” “I am the good shepherd”—not, “I’m going to be” or “I shall prepare to be,” but “I AM.” So it should be with us. Today are we the children of God. Now is the acceptable time. Today you are perfect in mind and body. Today your affairs are in good order. These things you must believe, and what you truly believe in your heart will be manifested in your life.

I am the Good Shepherd, and I know My own, and My own know Me. (John 10:14)

Center of Love

I AM A RADIATING CENTER OF THE CHRIST LOVE, MIGHTY TO ATTRACT MY GOOD AND TO RADIATE THAT GOOD TO OTHERS.

Everyone desires to love and be loved. We must realize that the love of God is within us, and our part is to let it shine out to those around us. Be that attractive kind of person who radiates a feeling of warmth and love. You will carry with you a power of blessing and good will. Others will turn to you as you express your warmth, brightness, joy, and love. As you go about your day, think of yourself as a center of warmth and love—attracting your good and radiating it to others.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. (Colossians 3:14)

Abundance

God, I give thanks for the good that is mine. I use it wisely.

The idea that one must be poor to be good was surely started by someone living in lack. Some people parade their limitations as virtues in an attempt to make up for inadequacy and failure feelings.

Abundance is part of the divine plan for the universe. Riches of mind and affairs are given to you by God, to be used wisely. The more you have, the more good you can do in your world. Your riches should enrich your own life and the lives of others.

Give thanks that you are being blessed through the wise use of God’s riches. No matter how little or how much you have, it is your attitude that counts. You are as rich this moment as you can think in your mind. You are as good, right now, as you are in your thought.

Fill your mind with ideas of God’s abundant good. Seek a greater understanding of yourself as a child of God, and be blessed.

And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (II Corinthians 9:8)
