Dreams

I AM WILLING TO LEARN HOW TO FULFILL THE DREAMS GOD HAS PLANTED WITHIN MY HEART.

Do you have any unfulfilled dreams? Are there things you would like to do or have that are not a part of your experience now? Would you like to be different from what you are at this moment?

The great American psychologist William James wrote: “If you care enough for the result you will attain it. If you wish to be rich, you will be rich; if you wish to be learned, you will be learned; if you wish to be good you will be good.”

The key to fulfilling your dreams is—do you care enough to work to get what you want in life? Do you care enough to make the effort to become the kind of person you would like to be? Are you willing to learn and to grow in understanding?

If you care enough, then ask yourself, “What can I do right now to begin?” If you are willing to begin and put yourself into what you do, you are on the way to the fulfillment of your dreams.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)

Growth

I SEE THE PERFECT OUTWORKING OF GOD’S SPIRIT IN MY LIFE REGARDLESS OF APPEARANCES. I GIVE THANKS FOR EVERY OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH AND UNFOLDMENT.

The law of cause and effect is operative at all times. As we sow, so shall we also reap. Our sorrows and blessings are the ships we have launched, coming home laden with their cargoes.

However, the law of cause and effect doesn’t explain everything. Jesus pointed this out to His disciples when they asked who had sinned, the blind man or his parents. In John 9:3, Jesus answered, “It was not that this man sinned, or his parents, but that the works of God might be manifest in him.” Jess did not label the blindness as a punishment for sin, but an opportunity for the works of God to be made known to that man, as well as to those around him. The blindness was simply the soul’s means of growth.

We draw to us what we need for growth—not necessarily what we want. We get the experiences and attract the situations that add to the treasury of our real self. True inner strength is gained by coming victoriously through some trying situation.

When we read or hear of accidents, diseases, or infirmities, it is fruitless to speculate as to why they happened. Do not focus on the misfortune, but bless the person and situation in spite of appearances. Be of too pure eyes to focus on misfortune and remain centered in the awareness of God’s absolute good.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. (II Peter 3:18)

A Better World

WITH GOD AS MY GUIDE, I TAKE STEPS EACH DAY TO IMPROVE MY WORLD.

Are you making a positive difference? Is the world better because you live and work in it?

Do away with building up appearances. Do away with pretense and superficial living. All the lectures you have heard, all the big-name people you are acquainted with, all the Truth you can quote, all the degrees that you have—these are meaningless unless you are living and working in such a way that the lives and destinies of people are being changed for the better. This includes living an effective, fulfilled life yourself.

If you are a dynamic person, the world is different because of your presence. The secret of being a dynamic personality lies in being aware that God is working through you. Affirm God’s presence within you and you will be serving humanity and making this a better world.

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.” (Mark 16:15)

Experience Good

I GIVE THANKS FOR THE KNOWLEDGE THAT GOD IS THE SOURCE OF ALL GOOD. I OPEN MY MIND AND HEART TO RECEIVE RIGHT NOW.

The writer of the Book of Job states, “Acquaint now thyself with God and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee.” Are you experiencing good in your life? Do not postpone receiving your blessings or neglect any opportunity to increase positive results in your life. You can recognize and accept God’s good for you right here and now.

Avoid remaining in bondage to either the past or the future. Now is the time that you have to experience the richness of God. Whatever you need in life will come when you make up your mind to accept it. You are deserving of good, as one created in God’s image and likeness.

God has created for us a kingdom of abundance to use and to enjoy. God expects you to have everything necessary for your full and complete unfoldment. Health, wealth, happiness, love, and good in every form belongs to you. Look to God as your Source. Acknowledge God’s presence and power, and your good will come to you.

Acquaint now thyself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto thee. (Job 22:21)

Self-image

I believe in good, in success, and in myself, for God is my constant guide and the source of all my good to come.

Success breeds success, but what if you feel unsuccessful in any area of living? You must consider your self-image. Do you believe that it is impossible for you to be successful? Do you think you are limited by other people, by circumstances, by the events of the past? You are not bound by these things. Begin to believe that you are not!

Picture yourself as a successful individual doing whatever needs to be done by you. The picture of success that you envision will draw to you success. Now you are on the right path. Keep always in mind the truth that God is working through you to be a special blessing to the world.

Know that God wills success for all of us. Your true success is in reality glorifying God. No one can make us successful except ourselves as we draw upon the fountainhead of the divine within. We choose our destiny by that in which we believe.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them. (Ephesians 2:10)
