Good Begins with God

I am God’s radiant, progressive, successful child, experiencing more and more good. GOD’S joy, enthusiasm, and inspiration express through me now.

What is your problem right now? What is it that commands a great deal of your attention? How many times have you thought of it in the last twenty-four hours? So long as the weight of our thoughts about our problem overbalances our thoughts about God, we will continue to experience it or one of similar nature. All good begins with God. To experience perfect health and strength, begin with the source of health and strength, God. To receive needed supply, turn your attention to God, the originator or everlasting abundance, your unfailing source. To establish order and harmony in your relationships, look for God’s Spirit within others.

God is the supreme cause, action, and effect in the universe. All that emanates from God produces joy, well-being, and success. Look to God and work with God to bring about the good you desire. Establish your divine relationship and all good will be given unto you.

You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” (Psalm 27:8)

Confidence

MY MIND AND HEART ARE NOW FREE FROM WORRY, AND I AM FILLED WITH CONFIDENCE IN GOD.

Where is your faith? We may be inclined to think that we do not have enough faith, but this is not true. We have faith, for this is one of our God-given qualities, but where are we directing it? What our faith is centered on is of utmost importance.

Is your faith centered upon negative experiences in life through your anxieties, fears, and worries? Are you expecting sickness, suffering, unhappiness, problems, and difficulties in your life? If so, then you have centered your faith in negative experiences, for where we direct our attention our faith is. Whatever you direct your faith toward, that you will experience—good or bad.

Let this knowledge cause you to center your faith in God only—thus will you bring forth only good in your life, for God is good. Center your faith, thoughts, and feelings upon the good, the beautiful, and the true.

Let us pray: Father, we release our concerns and worries into Your care. Guide us to whatever positive action we should take and help us direct our thinking toward Your good. We give thanks that our minds and hearts are now free from worry and filled with confidence in You. Amen!

The person who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence indeed is the LORD, is blessed. (Jeremiah 17:7)

Beauty

I GIVE THANKS FOR THE BEAUTY OF GOD’S WORLD AND FOR MY ABILITY TO SEE MORE OF THIS BEAUTY EVERY DAY.

Even with perfect vision, many of us are not visually alert. We do not see details. We do not notice much of the beauty all about us. Some of us may overlook that which is constantly with us, while seeking afar for the unusual and the mysterious.

Let us find in this day something new within the old and familiar. Look around the places where you spend most of your time. You may be surprised and delighted by all of the details of interest you have been overlooking. Even the scenery from any particular window varies daily to some degree. Seek out the changes. It will refresh you to find them.

In addition to that which we see with our eyes, we may also see a great deal with our hearts. Develop your sense of appreciation for beauty everywhere. It will enrich your life and nourish your soul.

“Your fame went out among the nations for your beauty; for it was perfect, through my majesty which I had put on you,” says the Sovereign Lord. (Ezekiel 16:14)

Cleansing

WITH GOD’S HELP, I CLEANSE MY SYSTEM OF UNHEALTHY EMOTIONS. I FEEL GOD’S LOVING, JOYOUS SPIRIT FLOWING FREELY THROUGH ME.

Do you have a hidden wound? Are you masking a hurt that seemed to be inflicted upon you in the past?

You must cleanse this wound in order to experience the flow of good into your life. By repressing the hurt, we do not get rid of the problem In fact, our health and well-being suffer when we harbor hurts.

In order to get rid of the hurt, you must first stop rehearsing it in your mind. Cease thinking about what happened. Stop nursing the wound.

Second, don’t feel sorry for yourself, for in doing so you are living in the sad past instead of enjoying the present.

Finally, let God heal you of the hurt and help you to forgive the person. Then you will enjoy the cleansing power of forgiveness and feel God’s loving, joyous spirit flowing freely through you.

“I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord. (Jeremiah 30:17)

Giving and Receiving

I GIVE THANKS FOR THE LAW OF GIVING AND RECEIVING, WHICH BLESSES AND PROSPERS ME NOW.

Would you like to have more of the good things in life than you presently have? If so, consider the infallible law of abundant supply that Jesus gave.

Jesus said, “As you give, so shall you also receive” and “Give and it shall be given unto you.” Giving is our means of opening the door to great riches.

Give generously, faithfully, and regularly to God. Everything you have is from God so it is only right that His portion be returned. Give of your money—but not that alone. Give of your time, your talent, your love, your energies.

Giving will open your heart and prepare you to receive. Giving is a fulfillment of the law. Give generously that you may receive richly.

Give and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into you bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you. (Luke 6:38)
