Divine Law

REVEAL TO ME YOUR CLEAR LIGHT OF TRUE UNDERSTANDING, GOD. I SEEK TO KNOW THE TRUTH WHICH TRULY SETS ME FREE.

Whatever we hold within our minds and hearts will surely be revealed in our lives. This is divine law. We cannot escape it. On the surface, we may act kindly toward our neighbors, we may appear to deal fairly with our associates, and we may seem to be cooperating with family and friends—but how do we really feel? That is what counts!

If we are holding on to resentments, prejudices, hate, or fear, we are breaking the law of love. We are sentencing ourselves to suffering, and our health, prosperity, or relationships may pay the penalty. We cannot break spiritual law and get away with it. Let us seek the Lord with all our hearts so our way is straight and we have the clear light of true understanding.

The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul. (Psalm 19:7)

Be Free!

I AM FREE TO BE THAT WHICH I AM MEANT TO BE. IN SPIRIT, I AM FREE!

Spirit exists in perfect freedom. In Spirit we are always free. We have the freedom to be whatever we want to be. We are free to choose the kind of life we want and we are free to build it thought by thought.

If you have a deep desire in your heart, know that you have the freedom to bring it forth into your world. It is there because God planted the idea in your being. Claim your freedom to fulfill your heart’s desire!

Declare daily: I am free from any negative influence. I am free from the false opinions of others. I am free from any stress and strain. I am free to be that which I am meant to be. In Spirit, I am free!

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (II Corinthians 3:17)

Change

LORD, I GIVE THANKS FOR THE FAITH THAT FREES ME FROM ALL FEAR OF CHANGE. I AM READY TO MOVE WITH THE PROGRESSIVE ACTIVITY OF LIFE.

If you are contemplating a change, or a change seems to be thrust upon you, remember, “When one door closes, God always opens another.” There is no need for emotional and physical distress. God will always be with us.

Sometimes we hold on to a way of life that is no longer right for us, a way of life we have outgrown. We may be afraid of new ideas, experiences, people, and places. Yet change is the law of growth, and growth is the law of life.

When we let our life flow in the direction God takes us—and we stay ready for our next good—something better, more meaningful, more interesting, more challenging, and more rewarding awaits us.

When change brings separation from a loved one, we may experience loneliness or sadness. Let us trust that God is all-knowing and everywhere-present, meeting the needs of each person in the right and perfect way. New horizons are opening for all concerned. Know that change is God’s way of moving each of us into greater good.

Expand your faith in God, and release all fear of change.

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

Prosperity

GOD IS MY UNFAILING RESOURCE.

It is true that people, jobs, and investments may be channels of prosperity for us. Yet, God alone is the true Source. No matter what else fails, our faith in God will assure us that our every need is met.

If your present supply seems insufficient to meet the demands, remember that God has provided unlimited substance for your use. You have instant access to this substance through your divinely inspired ideas. God will give you all the ideas you need, plus the faith and courage to step out and act on them.

Lift the limitations from your thinking by affirming that God is the Source of your prosperity.

The LORD is my shepherd; I have all that I need. (Psalm 23:1)

Relating to Others

I give thanks for God’s presence of good in everyone I meet.

Do you find it hard to relate to the people you must deal with? To move ahead successfully in life we must understand how to bring forth a good response from others.

Everyone wants to be important. Remind yourself of this when you write, call, or talk face-to-face. Treat others as if they are important, and they will respond accordingly. Everyone wants to be appreciated. If you look for the good in others, you will find admirable qualities. You will be blessed and so will they. Everyone wants to be successful. Your encouragement and confidence in others will give them added impetus.

Look appreciatively at others and you will have happy, meaningful relationships.

How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! (Psalm 133:1)
