Have a Good Day!

THANK YOU, GOD, FOR THIS BEAUTIFUL DAY AND FOR MY ABILITY TO FIND ONLY THE GOOD AND TRUE IN IT.

“Have a good day!”

“Have a good time!”

How uplifting it is to hear these words of goodwill or to say them ourselves! Have you ever stopped to think what they really mean? A “good day” is actually a “God day,” for good and God are synonymous. God is good!

To affirm for ourselves or others “a good day” is to affirm the awareness of the presence of God in our day. God is always present in every day; however, we must decide whether or not we will receive the good awaiting us. We can stare aimlessly at a brick wall or we can climb up and view the beautiful garden it encloses. Choose wisely.

Have a good day, friend!

God bless you!

O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the one who trusts in God. (Psalm 34:8)

Shape Your Life

I BELIEVE IN GOD’S POWER OF ABSOLUTE GOOD TO SHAPE MY LIFE.

Your entire life is shaped according to your belief. This is a basic law of the universe. Jesus said, “According to your faith is it done unto you.”

Whatever you have believed in the past has helped make you what you now are. What you believe governs the type of experiences you are having. Whatever you choose to believe from now on will determine the conditions of your future.

Believe in negative, undesirable, and destructive experiences, and they will appear in your life. Stop thinking about, talking about, and believing in the bad if you want to experience good. Protect your¬self through wise believing.

It shall be done for you as you have believed. (Matthew 8:13)

Dreams

I AM WILLING TO LEARN HOW TO FULFILL THE DREAMS GOD HAS PLANTED WITHIN MY HEART.

Do you have any unfulfilled dreams? Are there things you would like to do or have that are not a part of your experience now? Would you like to be different from what you are at this moment?

The great American psychologist William James wrote: “If you only care enough for the result, you will almost certainly attain it. If you wish to be rich, you will be rich; if you wish to be learned, you will be learned; if you wish to be good, you will be good.”

The key to fulfilling your dreams is—do you care enough to work to get what you want in life? Do you care enough to make the effort to become the kind of person you would like to be? Are you willing to learn and to grow in understanding?

If you care enough, then ask yourself, “What can I do right now to begin?” If you are willing to begin and put yourself into what you do, you are on the way to the fulfillment of your dreams.

Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)

Caring

I AM FILLED WITH STRENGTH, ENERGY, AND ENTHUSIASM, AS I GO FORTH TO DO GOD’S WORK.

Caring is taking action rather than simply talking about how much should be done or what someone else should do. Do you care enough to stir yourself from a comfortable rut and challenge those who need to be challenged? Do you care enough to take an unpopular stand if that is needed?

Many people say they care, but real caring demands action. If we really care about our world and do sincerely want peace for all, we will become centers of peace ourselves. This requires discipline and self-control. We must give up our war-like, hostile thoughts and feelings. We must cleanse our minds of all inharmony.

It is one thing to say wistfully, “Oh, when will we stop hurting each other?” and quite another to take hold of our own thoughts, feelings, and actions and demonstrate harmony, love, and respect.

Jesus cared. We never doubt this, for He took action and in so doing changed our world. We can do the same. Do you care?

You obey the law of Christ when you offer each other a helping hand. (Galatians 6:2)

Enjoy Life

I AM FULL OF VIGOR AND VITALITY, EAGER TO SEE WHAT GOOD GOD HAS IN STORE FOR ME TODAY.

Today is the first day of the rest of your life; therefore, you should not permit your day to be humdrum or just so-so. Never-to-be-repeated opportunities will come to you today. Are you ready and willing to take advantage of them?

One seemingly small idea may be all you need to propel yourself in a new direction in life—if you are ready and willing. Your right response to the right person, for example, may be responsible for totally unexpected avenues of good opening for you.

Enjoy life today and you will find all sorts of interesting things beginning to happen to you. Whatever comes to you today, make the best of it. Although it may not be as good as you like, if you respond well you may find it a steppingstone to good that you have longed for.

As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart. (Proverbs 27:19)
