Desires

I GIVE THANKS THAT GOD IS NOW FULFILLING THE DEEP DESIRES OF MY HEART QUICKLY AND EASILY, WITHOUT STRESS OR STRAIN.

Do you have all the things in life you would like to have? Is there something more than you are presently experiencing that would add to your sense of fulfillment and personal well-being?

Why don’t you have the things you would like to have? Do you often think of what you would like to experience, yet find yourself quickly adding the word “but…”? By your negative thoughts and feelings about the fulfillment of your desires, you cause a short circuit. The good you desire is prevented from coming into being.

God speaks to you through the deep, persistent desires of your heart. Rid your mind of negativity by knowing that fulfillment is at hand. God is attempting to express this particular good in your life. Accept it. Give thanks.

Delight yourself in the LORD, and He will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)

Think on God

LORD, MY MIND IS STAYED ON YOU AND YOUR UNBOUNDED, LIMITLESS LOVE FOR ME. I AM GRATEFUL.

What do you think about when you pray? Your problem, your need, your desire, or whatever it is you want God to do for you? There is a better way to pray. Instead of focusing on any of these things, think on God.

Think of God’s goodness and love. Think of God’s unlimited nature and willingness to fulfill your every need. Think of God’s presence always with you. Think of God’s intelligence that will guide you. Think of the limitless power God is willing to express through you.

Try this new technique of prayer today. Instead of anything else—think on God. Claim that God is your all sufficiency in all things. Claim the presence of Christ within you. Give thanks that God provides good for you and wants the very best for you.

Sit quietly knowing that at this very moment God’s own nature is being given to you. Give thanks that it is now taking place. You will not have to worry or give any more thought to your needs or problems. God will show you the way to handle everything.

Pray, thinking on God, and accept God’s wonderful blessings today.

Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, praise his holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul; and forget not all his benefits. (Psalm 103:1-2)

Success

I BELIEVE IN GOOD, FOR GOD IS MY CONSTANT GUIDE AND THE SOURCE OF EVERY BLESSING.

If you feel unsuccessful in any area of living, you must change your self-image. Do you believe that it is possible for you to be successful? Or do you think you are limited by other people, by circumstances, by the events of the past? You are not limited by these things. Begin to believe that you are not! Picture yourself as a successful individual and the positive image you envision will draw good to you. Success breeds success.

Keep always in mind the truth that God is working through you to be a special blessing to the world. God’s will for you is good. When you draw upon the divine fountainhead within, you are on the right path. Know that true success is in glorifying God, your guide and the source of every blessing.

Now to the One who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. (Ephesians 3:20)

Rule Your Own Spirit

I TAKE CONTROL OVER MY OWN SPIRIT NOW.

Do you rule your spirit? Or do you allow negative moods to exert control over you?

A mood is a comprehensive term for a state of mind in which one emotion predominates, pulling thoughts and experiences along with it. You can thus see what destruction a negative mood can generate.

“Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls,” says the ancient writer of Proverbs. In those days, it was essential that cities be surrounded by walls for protection from invaders. Without walls the cities were susceptible to enemies.

You are protected when you rule your own spirit. Without keeping your spirit in hand, you will be susceptible to negativity from all sources. You will become an attracting power for destructive mental and emotional invaders.

You can rule your spirit.
1. Start your day making the determination to be master of your thoughts, emotions, actions, and reactions.
2. Face directly the things that bother you and deal with them.
3. Refuse to dwell on the negative actions or words of others.
4. Look at life from a greater perspective.
5. Keep your mind stayed on the presence of God.

Whoever has no rule over his own spirit is like a city broken down, without walls. (Proverbs 25:28)

Rise Above

THE SPIRIT OF ALL-KNOWING WISDOM IS GUIDING ME NOW.

Most of us are sensitive to some degree to the criticism of others. Some are so sensitive that another person can wither all incentive and cause deep feelings of inadequacy and inferiority. We do not have to live at the mercy of others. We can rise above all condemnation and critical attitudes—and we must, if we are to function as the free spiritual beings that we truly are.

We need only answer to God. We need only listen to God. If we are involved in any kind of service which affects another, we can be sure that as God works through us, we will be fair and true to all. As we turn often to our inner Guide, we cannot fail in our responsibilities to others. As long as we do the thing that God guides us to do, we need never be concerned over the final outcome.

Yes, it takes courage to listen to God in quietness rather than to the outer clamor of the world. It takes strength to do that which God tells us to do rather than doing the bidding of co-workers, family, and friends. It takes faith in God—and in ourselves as expressions of God—to carry on in the face of adversity. But we can do it through the Christ Spirit within. As we do, great will be our reward! Only as we follow our true path of Light will we be able to walk through life unafraid and undaunted—confident, at peace, and filled with joy.

Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men. (Acts 5:29)
