Justice

APPEARANCES OF INJUSTICE DO NOT AFFECT OR DISTURB ME, FOR I HAVE UNFAILING FAITH THAT GOD’S DIVINE LAW OF JUSTICE IS AT WORK.

When we feel we are being treated unjustly, or someone else is experiencing such treatment, we need to know that the undeviating law of God brings divine justice into the situation. So long as we hold thoughts and feelings of injustice in our minds and hearts we are subject to them. We experience injustice because we believe in it and give attention to it.

Declare that God’s law of justice is operating now in your life and affairs. Affirm the presence of this unfailing law in the life of anyone you are concerned about. Outer situations will clear up as you do this. Give your attention to God, who will bring forth that which is just, orderly, and good.

No one can treat you unjustly so long as you do not accept it into your mind and heart. You will be guided if there is a need for you to do something in the outer.

But let justice roll on like a river, righteousness like a never-failing stream! (Amos 5:24)

Right Place

I GIVE THANKS THAT I AM LED TO MY RIGHT WORK.

You have a particular place to fill in God’s great universal plan. You are important. Therefore, hold no limiting thoughts or feelings about yourself. Neither allow the limited thoughts of others to influence your actions. You have the capacity to succeed and progress.

Endeavor to do your work well, regardless of your present occupation. Learn all that you can where you are, and put God first in your life—in your heart, mind, and world. You will be led to your right place in God’s great universal plan.

Do you see someone skilled in their work? They will serve before kings; they will not serve before officials of low rank. (Proverbs 22:29)

Love Is Stronger

My body is a temple of Divine Love, as God expresses through me.

We must rid ourselves of any hate or resentment if we would experience good physical and mental health. Love is stronger than any other emotion. Even before hate is manifest in words or actions, it plays havoc with our emotions and our health.

Perhaps we succeed in hurting the feelings of the object of our displeasure, but we always hurt ourselves more. In order to burst forth with words of vengeance, we must first give birth to anger within our mind and heart—we must nurture it in our emotions. This hatred grows within us, draining the very joy of life out of us. It burns up our precious life energy. It causes a short-circuit in our peace of mind. Is it worth it? Certainly not, if we care for ourselves at all.

Love is the antidote. We can open our minds and hearts to God’s perfect love and rid ourselves of hate and fear. In divine love lies freedom and peace.

Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. (I Corinthians 13:7)

Life Source

The joy of life SURGES throughout my being. I am wholly alive, for I am fully aware of my true life Source.

Not even one hour of life would be possible if it were not for the Presence of God within us. It is surprising that some manage to live as well as they do, while dwelling so completely in spiritual ignorance and negativity. That just goes to show us how powerful the divine within truly is. It is that life force which keeps us going even in the most distressing circumstances. It is that hope which would cause us to hang on when all seems lost. Our inner spark of divinity ever pushes us onward, for we are expressions of divine life.

The divine presence within rushes to our aid when recognized and called upon. As we turn to God for guidance, our lives take on a deeper meaning, our happiness becomes more full and complete—there is no lack or limitation, no door for good that will not swing open.

Many say that they love life but do not recognize God. Life is God. To love Life is to love God, and as our love for Life grows, we will more and more turn within to our only Source of Life to receive true guidance and to give thankful praise.

These things I have spoken to you, that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be full. (John 15:11)

Gentleness

I AM GRATEFUL FOR THE GENTLE DISPOSITION GOD CREATES IN ME. I AM A SOURCE OF STRENGTH, PEACE, AND STABILITY TO OTHERS.

One of the fruits of the Spirit we should give attention to is the quality of gentleness. Gentleness is characteristic of the Christ nature, denoting strength.

Gentleness is the quality in a person who always seeks to act with understanding where the feelings of others are concerned. A gentle person does not act thoughtlessly or speak harshly, even though at times firmness may be necessary.

Gentleness is never rude, tactless, or impatient, no matter how much justification there seems to be. This quality puts people at ease and makes them comfortable. Let us today receive and share the gift of gentleness that we may experience a lovely, rewarding day.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. (Galatians 2:22-23)
