Have you ever seen so many things wrong that you wondered where the good could be? If you close the drapes or blinds in every room, no matter how bright and sunny it is outside, your house will be dark and gloomy.
To remedy the situation you would simply need to open the drapes or blinds for the light to pour in and make the house bright and cheerful.
Even when it seems that evil is all about us, that everything is wrong, let us not be deceived. Jesus said, “Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.” Evil is only a result of false beliefs about good. We can change the appearance of evil by affirming the presence of God—which is the presence of good. No matter what the appearance, God is there. And where God is, there is good.
We may close God out if we allow the windows of our soul to be darkened by false beliefs and negative concepts. Refrain from judging by appearances and instead know that God is here, and wherever God is, good is.
Jesus said, “Have faith in God.” The good news is that you already have faith; it is one of your special attributes. Now all you must do is to center it in God.
Your faith is vital and alive. It will sustain you in every situation. It grows and expands and strengthens as you exercise it. Every day, look for ways to express your faith in God.
Have faith in God’s provision for your healthy body. You have been created by divine intelligence. Therefore, do not fear illness or disease. Refuse to talk about physical weakness.
Have faith in others. Behold God’s Spirit in every person you meet. Do not look for wrongs. Use good judgment in all dealings with others, knowing that Christ is in them. Have faith in God’s law of growth and progress. Do not be discouraged when things take a different turn from what you had anticipated. Good will come through in a perfect way for you.
Have faith in God—faith enough to venture into new areas and unfamiliar situations. God will guide you and good will result.
Have faith in God! It works!
