Age has served as an excuse for inactivity, for lack of interest, for physical illness, and for mental dullness—to mention only a few. Yet time itself has no power to age the human body. It is the belief in the effect of time that ages us.
Wake yourself up! Get started right now. Fix in your mind the following thoughts:
“Time of itself has no power to age me. God gives me life, not age.”
“God’s creative, renewing life is active in me right now, keeping me mentally and physically young.”
Allow all false beliefs about age to be erased from your mind. Give thanks for God’s life that restores and rejuvenates you now.
What are you worried about? Nothing, I hope, for worry—which is negative mind activity—tends to create its physical, or outer, counterpart. In other words, you increase your negative experiences through worry. Surely this is not your desire.
Worry is basically a spiritual problem, for it indicates that we have more faith in conditions, circumstances, and people than in God, who is the creative Spirit of the universe.
Have faith that God can get you out of your troubles for good. Turn to God for guidance. Greater is the Spirit of God within you than anything in the world. Whether conditions involve people, finances, or health, in no way is the Spirit of God limited. Learn to call upon God and release all worry.
