If you feel left out, ignored, or forgotten by your friends or associates, examine your attitudes. Are you making an effort to be friendly? Are you thoughtful of others? Do you express interest in your friends and associates? Do you express appreciation?
Often we become so wrapped up in our own affairs or those of our immediate family that we neglect our associations with others. Don’t be guilty of that, for others are very important to your own growth and unfoldment. In order to live a balanced life, there must be a sharing with others and an expansion of human contacts. Other people bless our life; we bless theirs.
If you need to take the first step in establishing friendly relationships, prayer will reveal what you are to do. As you realize your unity with God and other people, you will be guided into right relationships with those in your world. You will be given new and rewarding friendships. Express an attitude of friendliness to all people and great will be your reward.
What sort of ideals do you have for yourself? What would you like to do, to be, to experience? What type of relationships would you like to enjoy with others? What are your highest hopes for your business and financial world?
The dictionary defines an ideal as “a standard of perfection, beauty, or excellence.” Without ideals in the various aspects of life, we drift—aimless and ineffectual. Holding to a high vision can lift us out of bondage. We rise above beliefs in lack, limitation, inharmony, and other negativity, and establish a clear sense of values.
No person can become a great “doer” in the world without first being an idealist—adopting as a guide possibilities that have not yet been attained. In this way we move toward the fulfillment of our purpose. Cherish your ideals and watch your life move forward in divine order.
